Start with the workplace zones
Most office scopes group work around workstations, meeting rooms, kitchens, amenities, entrances, shared circulation and floors. That creates a map of the workplace before individual tasks are assigned.
- Accessible surfaces and touchpoints
- Bins and waste routes
- Vacuuming and appropriate hard-floor care
- Kitchen and amenity presentation
- Meeting-room and shared-area cleaning
Frequency changes the checklist
A task suitable for every visit may be unnecessary in a lightly used area. Conversely, a busy kitchen or entrance may need attention more often than the rest of the office. Frequency should follow use rather than a package name.
Keep periodical work visible
Carpet cleaning, machine floor care, detailed glass and deeper fixture work can sit outside the routine visit. Recording them in a separate periodical plan stops them from disappearing between weekly checklists.
State exclusions and responsibilities
Access, consumables, waste handling, locked rooms and specialist surfaces should be explicit. The clearer the boundaries, the easier the service is to coordinate and review.
Zavvers’ published checklist includes cleaning cleared desks, reachable ledges, entry mats and glass marks. It excludes sanitary and nappy-bin servicing. Use the checklist to discuss your workplace, rather than assuming every listed task applies to every visit.
